Scope of Application
This machine is well suited for parts that are small, multi‑faceted, and produced in either small batches or higher volumes. Typical examples include impellers, small dies, medical implants, camera brackets, drone frames, and irregular mechanical components. When combined with a quick‑change fixturing system, the machine enables rapid product changeover.
Equipment Manufacturing Process
The first step is to collect all part‑specific information, including expected output and changeover frequency, and to propose a suitable level of automation (e.g., a collaborative robot or a gantry loader). After the contract is signed, the customer embeds the necessary cables and air lines into a foundation that is isolated from vibration. Assembly takes place in a temperature‑controlled workshop, where linear guides and ballscrews are mounted, the spindle and tool magazine are installed, and the direct‑drive motors are coupled to the rotary axes. The time grating scales are then calibrated, and the whole system undergoes a 72‑hour burn‑in test. If automation is selected, an automatic door and pneumatic grippers are added, and the loading/unloading cycle is simulated. Finally, the customer inspects the cell on site, and after approval, the machine is shipped. A field engineer provides three days of training and stays for commissioning.

A: An electromagnetic brake on the tilting axis engages automatically. Never attempt to turn the table manually while the machine is powered down.

A: Yes, but a balanced holder (G2.5 quality) is strongly recommended; otherwise, vibration at high speeds will degrade surface finish.
Q3. Does the control support in‑process measurement?
A: Yes. An optional touch probe can be activated via macros to perform workpiece alignment, compensate for size variations, and detect broken tools. Standard measurement cycles are provided.
