Equipment Manufacturing Process

 

The customer is responsible for preparing a foundation (a 300mm minimum concrete slab without steel reinforcement, away from vibration/temperature changes) and providing 380V three-phase power and clean, dry compressed air (filtered to 100 microns). Upon delivery, a joint inspection is performed. The customer handles rough leveling, after which our engineers arrive for fine-tuning, full Renishaw laser calibration, and a one-day on-site operator training.

Q1. What advantage does the torque tube column design provide during heavy cutting operations?

A: The torque tube column is a key structural feature of the HD-VF857. Unlike a standard open-section column, the torque tube design creates a closed, box-like structure that resists both bending and torsional forces. During heavy cutting, this means less deflection at the spindle nose, which directly translates to better surface finish and longer tool life. The torque tube works together with the rib-reinforced bed and the six-slider Z-axis configuration to transfer cutting vibrations away from the cutting zone and into non-critical areas of the machine base. For customers machining steel, cast iron, or hard alloys, this added rigidity allows for more aggressive depth of cut without sacrificing accuracy.

Q2. How long is the warranty and what does it cover?

A: Twelve months from the machine arrival date. Free repair covers manufacturing defects. User‑caused damage from crashes, improper use, or unauthorized modification requires paid repair. After the warranty expires, service continues with spare parts and labor charges. Lifetime maintenance support is available. Ownership remains with us until full payment is cleared.

Q3. What spindle speed choices exist?

A: Three configurations: belt drive at 10,000 rpm for general purpose, direct drive at 12,000 rpm for higher speed, or motor spindle at 15,000 rpm for high‑speed finishing. All use BT40 taper with optional HSK‑A63. Torque output is 96 Newton meters for both FANUC and Mitsubishi drive systems.
