Installation And Pre-commissioning Preparation For CNC Lathes

Lifting and Transport

Lifting and positioning of the machine tool should be performed using the specialized lifting tools provided by the manufacturer; alternative methods are not permitted. If specialized lifting tools are not required, steel cables should be used to lift and position the machine at the points specified in the instruction manual.

Foundation and Location

The machine tool must be installed on a solid foundation, away from vibration sources, direct sunlight, and heat radiation. It should be placed in a dry environment, protected from moisture and drafts. If vibration sources exist nearby, an anti-vibration trench must be constructed around the foundation.

Machine Tool Installation

Once placed on the foundation, the machine tool should be leveled in a free state before the anchor bolts are tightened evenly. Leveling accuracy should be within 0.04/1000 mm for standard machine tools and within 0.02/1000 mm for high-precision models. Measurements of installation accuracy should be conducted at a constant temperature, and measuring tools must be allowed to stabilize at that temperature before use. Installation methods that induce forced deformation of the machine tool must be strictly avoided. Components should not be dismantled arbitrarily during installation, as this can redistribute internal stresses and compromise the machine's precision.

Preparation Before Trial Run

After the machine tool passes the geometric accuracy inspection, the entire unit must be cleaned. Use cotton or silk cloth dampened with cleaning agent; do not use cotton waste or gauze. Remove the anti-rust oil or paint applied at the factory to protect guideways and machined surfaces, and clean dust from the exterior surfaces. Apply the specified lubricating oil to all sliding and working surfaces.

Carefully verify that all parts have been lubricated as required and that the coolant tank is adequately filled. Check that the oil levels in the hydraulic station and automatic lubrication system align with the indicators.

Inspect the electrical control cabinet to ensure all switches and components are functioning correctly and that all plug-in integrated circuit boards are properly seated.

Power on and activate the centralized lubrication system to ensure all lubrication points and oil lines are fully primed with lubricant. Complete all necessary preparations before operating the machine's components.
