Characteristics Of CNC Lathe Compared To Conventional CNC Lathe

CNC Lathes are automated machines equipped with a program control system. This system logically processes programs defined by control codes or other symbolic instructions and decodes them, thereby driving the machine to perform operations and manufacture parts.

Compared to conventional machine tools, CNC Lathes exhibit the following characteristics:

● High machining precision and consistent product quality;

● Capability for multi-axis coordinated motion, enabling the machining of complex part geometries;

● When switching to a different part, usually only the CNC program needs to be modified, saving time on production preparation;

● High machine precision and rigidity allow for the selection of optimal machining parameters, resulting in high productivity (typically 3 to 5 times that of conventional machines);

● High level of automation, which reduces labor intensity;

● Higher requirements for the competence of operators and even higher technical requirements for maintenance personnel.
